TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Yau Ma Tei


        Motorists are advised that to facilitate construction works of Central Kowloon Route, the following temporarily traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 1 January 2023 to 28 February 2023:-

Traffic Arrangements

I.      Lane Conversion

The section of Saigon Street between Canton Road and Ferry Street will be temporarily converted into one-way westbound.

II.     Banning of Turning Movement

(i)     All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Ferry Street southbound into Saigon Street;

(ii)    All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn movement from Ferry Street northbound into Saigon Street; and

(iii)   All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Canton Road northbound into Kansu Street.

III.    Traffic Diversion

(i)     Affected vehicles on Ferry Street southbound heading for Saigon Street will be diverted via Jordon Road eastbound and Canton Road northbound;

(ii)     Affected vehicles on Ferry Street northbound heading for Saigon Street will be diverted via Yan Cheung Road westbound, Hoi Wang Road southbound, Jordon Road eastbound and Canton Road northbound;

(iii)   Affected vehicles on Canton Road northbound and Kansu Street westbound heading for Ferry Street will be diverted via Saigon Street westbound; and

(iv)   Affected vehicles on Man Cheong Street eastbound heading for Saigon Street will be diverted via Ferry Street southbound, Jordan Road eastbound and Canton Road northbound.

Transport Arrangements

I.      Green Minibus (GMB) Diversions

(i)     GMB Route No. 3 (Tai Kok Tsui bound) will be temporarily diverted via Jordon Road eastbound and Canton Road northbound before resuming to the original routeing;

(ii)    GMB Route No. 26 (To Kwa Wan bound) and Route No. 26X (Hung Hom bound) will be temporarily diverted via Jordan Road eastbound before resuming to the original routeings;

(iii)   GMB Route No. 74 (Mong Kok bound) and Route No. 74S (Ho Man Tin bound) will be diverted via Man Wai Street westbound, Man Cheong Street northbound, Man Cheong Street eastbound, Ferry Street southbound, Jordon Road eastbound and Canton Road northbound before resuming to the original routeings; and

(iv)   GMB Route No. 43M (Tai Kok Tsui bound) will be temporarily diverted via Battery Street southbound, Saigon Street westbound and Ferry Street northbound before resuming to the original routeing.

II.     Green Minibus (GMB) Stop Arrangements

(i)     The existing stop of GMB Route No. 3 on Ferry Street near Man Ying Building will be temporarily relocated to No. 511 Canton Road northbound near Jordan Road;

(ii)    The existing stop of GMB Route No. 26 and 26X on Ferry Street near Man Ying Building will be temporarily suspended; and

(iii)   The existing stop of GMB Route No. 43M on Kansu Street will be temporarily relocated to Battery Street outside Yau Ma Tei Market.


        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.
