Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on
Lion Rock Tunnel Road, Sha Tin
Members of public are advised that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements on Lion Rock Tunnel Road will be implemented
from 1.15 am to 5.45 am daily on 31 January, and from 2 to 3 February 2023:
A. Road Closure
The slip road leading from Lion Rock Tunnel Road eastbound to Hung Mui Kuk Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
B. Traffic Diversion
During the above road closure, affected vehicles on Lion Rock Tunnel Road eastbound heading for Tai Wai will be diverted via Lion Rock Tunnel Road eastbound and Che Kung Miu Road westbound to Tai Wai.
C. Public Transport Arrangements
KMB Route No. N281 (Kam Ying Court bound), Cross Harbour Route Nos. N170 (Shatin Central bound), N182 (Kwong Yuen bound) and N.T. GMB Route No. 63S (Mei Tin Estate bound) will be diverted via Lion Rock Tunnel Road eastbound, Sha Tin Road eastbound, Sha Tin Wai Road southbound, Sha Tin Road westbound, Lion Rock Tunnel Road westbound and Hung Mui Kuk Road northbound, and resume their original routeings.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to notify passengers of the above arrangements.
