TRAFFIC ADVICE
Extension of Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangement on Kwun Tong Road,
Kwun Tong
Motorists are advised that to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented on Kwun Tong Road from 11 February to 16 April 2023:
(1) Lane Closure on Kwun Tong Road northbound
One of the following road sections will be temporarily closed:
(i) A section of fast lane of about 300 metres on Kwun Tong Road northbound near Kowloon Bay MTR Station Exit B will be temporarily closed with effect from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm daily from Mondays to Fridays, and from 10.00 am on Saturdays to 12.00 noon on Sundays; or
(ii) A section of slow lane of about 90 metres on Kwun Tong Road northbound near Kowloon Bay MTR Station Exit B will be temporarily closed from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily.
(2) Lane Closure on Kwun Tong Road southbound
One of the following road sections will be temporarily closed:
(i) A section of fast lane of about 350 metres on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Kowloon Bay MTR Station Exit B will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic with effect from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm daily from Mondays to Fridays, and from 10.00 am on Saturdays to 12.00 noon on Sundays; or
(ii) A section of slow lane of about 100 metres on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Kowloon Bay MTR Station Exit B will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic with effect from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily from Mondays to Saturdays.
(3) Public Transport Arrangement
The GMB stop for Kowloon GMB Route No. 68, and New Territories GMB Route No. 102 and 102S on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Kowloon Bay MTR Station Exit B will be temporarily relocated to about 40 metres southward.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
