TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Yau Ma Tei
Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate construction works of Central Kowloon Route, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in Ferry Street from 10 March 2023 to 31 May 2023:
Traffic Arrangements
I. Road Closure
The section of Reclamation Street between Kansu Street and Battery Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
II. Prohibited Zone for Vehicles
(i) Battery Street between Reclamation Street and Kansu Street will be temporarily designated as prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length; and
(ii) Kansu Street between Reclamation Street and Battery Street will be temporarily designated as prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 12 metres in length.
Transport Arrangement
Green Minibus (GMB) Diversion and Relocation of Stops
GMB Route no. 43M (Tai Kok Tsui bound) will be temporarily diverted via Battery Street southbound, Saigon Street westbound and Ferry Street northbound before resuming to original routings.
At the same time, the existing GMB stop of Route no. 43M on Kansu Street will be temporarily relocated to Battery Street outside Yau Ma Tei Market.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
