TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Canton Road, Jordan
Notice is hereby given that in connection with the film making activities, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Canton Road from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm daily on 19 March 2023 and 26 March 2023:-
I. Traffic Arrangements
A. Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. The section of Canton Road northbound between Jordan Road and Saigon Street;
ii. The section of Ning Po Street between Canton Road and Battery Street; and
iii. The section of Nanking Street between Canton Road and Battery Street.
B. Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on Jordan Road eastbound heading for Canton Road will be temporarily diverted via Battery Street.
II. Transport Arrangement
Green Minibus (GMB) Stop Relocation
The existing GMB stops of Route no. 3 located on Canton Road northbound will be temporarily relocated to Jordan Road eastbound outside Kent Building.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
