Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate emergency road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented from 6.00 am on 2 April 2023 to 6:00 am on 27 April 2023:

(I) Temporary Traffic Arrangements

        (a) Road Closure

The section of Chun Yat Street between Chun Cheong Street and Chun Wang Street will be temporarily closed.

(b) Traffic Diversions

1. 1. Affected vehicles on Chun Yat Street southbound or Chun Cheong Street eastbound continue heading for Chun Yat Street southbound will be diverted to travel via Chun Cheong Street eastbound, Chun Kwong Street southbound, Chun Wang Street westbound and Chun Yat Street northbound;
   2. Affected vehicles on Chun Cheong Street westbound heading for Chun Yat Street southbound will be diverted to travel via Chun Cheong Street northbound, roundabout, Cheung Cheong Street southbound, Cheung Cheong Street eastbound, Chun Kwong Street southbound, Chun Wang Street westbound and Chun Yat Street northbound;
   3. Affected vehicles on Chun Yat Street northbound or Chun Wang Street eastbound continue heading for Chun Yat Street northbound will be diverted to travel via Chun Wang Street eastbound, Chun Kwong Street northbound, Chun Cheong Street westbound and Chun Yat Street northbound; and
   4. Affected vehicles on Chun Wang Street westbound heading for Chun Yat Street northbound will be diverted to travel via roundabout, Chun Wang Street eastbound, Chun Kwong Street northbound, Chun Cheong Street westbound and Chun Yat Street northbound.

(c) Suspension of Goods Vehicle Parking Spaces

The existing 8.00 pm to 8:00 am daily goods vehicle parking spaces on the western kerbside lane of Chun Yat Street between Chun Cheong Street and Chun Wang Street will be temporarily suspended.

(II) Temporary Transport Arrangements

During the above road closure, the following temporary transport arrangements will be implemented:

1. 1. KMB Route Nos. 98, 290B, 290E, 298E and 298F (Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate bound) will be diverted via Chun Cheong Street, Chun Kwong Street, Chun Wang Street and Chun Yat Street before resuming original routeing;
   2. NWFB Route Nos. 793, 795, 795P, 797, 797M, 798P and 798X (Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate bound) will be diverted via Chun Cheong Street, Chun Kwong Street, Chun Ying Street, Chun Choi Street, Chun Wang Street and Chun Yat Street before resuming original routeing;
   3. NWFB Route No. 796X (Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate bound) will be diverted via Chun Cheong Street, Chun Kwong Street, Chun Ying Street and Chun Choi Street before resuming original routeing; and
   4. NT GMB Route Nos. 112M and 112S (LOHAS Station / Tseung Kwan O Station bound) will be diverted via Chun Wang Street, Chun Kwong Street, Chun Cheong Street and Chun Yat Street before resuming original routeing.

(b) Temporary Suspension / Relocation of Bus and Green Minibus (GMB) Stops

1. 1. The bus stop on Chun Yat Street southbound and the GMB stops on Chun Yat Street northbound will be temporarily suspended;
   2. Affected passengers of KMB Route Nos. 98, 290B, 290E, 298E and 298F could make use of the temporary bus stop on Chun Kwong Street southbound near 1 Chun Ying Street; and
   3. Affected passengers of NWFB Route Nos. 793, 795, 795P, 796X, 797, 797M, 798P and 798X could make use of the bus stop on Chun Yat Street near Wan Po Road or Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate Bus Terminus.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary transport arrangements.
