In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 Sub. Leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 14 April 2023, the western kerbside lane of Container Port Road from a point about 40 metres south of its junction with Kwai Shun Street to a point 50 metres south of the same junction will be designated as restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses, taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner of Transport, will be prohibited from:-

        (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
        (b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road marking.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
