Members of the public are advised that the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 12.00 noon to 7.00 pm on Saturdays and from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm on Sundays and public holidays during the periods from 29 April 2023 to 27 August 2023 in Shek O in connection with the Swimming Season 2023:-

(a)    Suspension of Parking Spaces

16 parking spaces (No. 114 to No. 129) at Shek O Beach Public Carpark will be suspended.

(b)    Relocation of Bus Terminus

The bus terminus of NWFB Route Nos. 9 (Shau Kei Wan – Shek O) and X9 (Shek O – Central (Central Ferry Piers)) will be temporarily relocated from Shek O Bus Terminus to the Shek O Beach Public Carpark near Shek O Beach Office.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices at the concerned termini to advise passengers of the above temporary terminus arrangements.

        The public are advised to use public transport services as far as possible. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion, and observe the instruction given by the Police.
