Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tsing Yi for Tin Hau Festival 2023
Notice is hereby given that the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tsing Yi from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on 21 May 2023 (Sunday) for the Tin Hau Festival 2023:
(I) Temporary Traffic Arrangements
(A) Road Closure
The following road sections will be closed to all vehicular traffic:
- Tsing Luk Street between the carpark exit of Tsing Yi Garden and the taxi stand near Tsing Yi Estate Bus Terminus; and
- The slow lane of Fung Shue Wo Road (southbound) opposite to Tsing Yi Rural Committee.
(B) Temporary Traffic Diversion
- Motorists on Fung Shue Wo Road (southbound) heading for Tsing King Road (northbound) via Tsing Yip Street and Tsing Luk Street are advised to travel via Fung Shue Wo Road (southbound), Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout and Tsing King Road (northbound).
- Motorists on Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road (northbound) heading for Tsing Yip Street via Tsing Luk Street are advised to travel via Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road (northbound), Fung Shue Wo Road (northbound) and Tsing Yip Street (eastbound).
(II) Temporary Public Transport Arrangements
(A) Bus Service
The following bus services will be diverted to travel via Fung Shue Wo Road in lieu of Tsing Yip Street, Tsing Luk Street and Tsing King Road:
KMB Route No. 41A
(Cheung On - Tsim Sha Tsui East) |
Tsim Sha Tsui East bound
In connection to the above diversion, the bus stops at Yee Wai House Tsing Yi Estate, Tsing Yi Estate Commercial Complex and Tsing Yi Market will be temporarily suspended, while temporary bus stops will be set up at Yee Yip House Tsing Yi Estate and Greenview Villa.

Cheung On bound
In connection to the above diversion, the bus stops at Tsing Yi Market and Tsing Yi Estate will be temporarily suspended, while temporary bus stops will be set up at Greenview Villa and Yee Yip House Tsing Yi Estate.

KMB Route No. 44
(Tsing Yi Estate - Mong Kok East Station) |
Mong Kok East Station bound
In connection to the above diversion, the bus stop at Tsing Yi Market will be temporarily suspended, while temporary bus stops will be set up at Yee Yip House Tsing Yi Estate and Greenview Villa.

In connection to the above diversion, the bus stop at Tsing Yi Market will be temporarily suspended.

Tsuen Wan Station bound
In connection to the above diversion, the bus stops at Tsing Yi Market and Tsing Yi Estate Bus Terminus will be temporarily suspended, while temporary bus stops will be set up at Yee Yip House Tsing Yi Estate and Greenview Villa.

Tsing Yi Public Pier bound
In connection to the above diversion, the bus stops at Yee Wai House Tsing Yi Estate, Tsing Yi Estate Commercial Complex and Tsing Yi Market will be temporarily suspended, while temporary bus stops will be set up at Yee Yip House Tsing Yi Estate and Greenview Villa.

(B) Green Minibus (GMB) Service
The following New Territories GMB services will be diverted to travel via Fung Shue Wo Road in lieu of Tsing Yip Street, Tsing Luk Street and Tsing King Road:
- Route No. 88 (Kwai Fong Station - Tsing Yi Estate)
- Route No. 88A (Mayfair Gardens - Cheung On Public Transport Terminus (circular))
- Route No. 409 (Tsing Yi (Cheung Hang) - Tsuen Wan (Tsuen Wan Market Street) (circular))
- Route No. 409K (Tsing Yi (Cheung Hang) - Tsuen Wan West Station (circular))
- Route No. 409S (Tsing Yi (Cheung Hang) - Tsuen Wan (Tsuen Wan Market Street) via Tak Hoi Street (circular))
- Route No. 413 (Tsing Yi Public Pier - Princess Margaret Hospital)
Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. At the same time, the public transport operators will put up notices to advise passengers of the above temporary public transport arrangements.
