TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Kwun Tong
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Kwun Tong from 10.00 pm on 24 May 2023 to 5.30 am on 25 May 2023.
(1) Lane Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(a) The slow lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road northbound from its junction with Lei Yue Mun Road to a point about 130 metres south of the same junction;
(b) The slow lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road northbound from its junction with Shing Yip Street to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction;
(c) The fast lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road northbound from its junction with Wai Fat Road to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction;
(d) The slow lane of Wai Fat Road eastbound from its junction with Shing Yip Street to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction;
(e) The slow lane of Shing Yip Street eastbound from its junction with Cha Kwo Ling Road to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction; and
(f) The slow lane of Lei Yue Mun Road westbound from a point about 60 metres east of its junction with Cha Kwo Ling Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction.
(2) Public Transport Arrangements
The bus stop on Cha Kwo Ling Road northbound near Shing Yip Street for KMB Route Nos. 11B, 11C, 11D, 11X, 23, 40, 40P, 74D, 74X, 89C and 93A will be relocated about 20 metres southward.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notices will also be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
