Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate water main layout works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Choi Yuen Road, Sheung Shui from 11 June 2023 (Sunday) to 22 October 2023 (Sunday):

1. Temporary Traffic Arrangements

      The following road sections will be temporarily converted in different time periods from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic from 1.30 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday:

• Choi Yuen Road westbound from a point about 80 metres west of its junction with Pak Wo Road to a point about 120 metres west of the same junction; and

• Choi Yuen Road eastbound from a point about 125 metres west of its junction with Pak Wo Road to a point about 95 metres west of the same junction.

2. Temporary Transport Arrangements

• The bus stop of KMB Route No. 273A westbound opposite Sheung Shui Station will be temporarily cancelled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday. Affected passengers can use the Choi Yuen Bus Terminus.

• The bus stop of KMB Route Nos. 76K, 261X, 276A, 276B and 978 on Choi Yuen Road westbound opposite Sheung Shui Station will be temporarily relocated for about 140 metres westwards near Choi Yuk House, Choi Yuen Estate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday.

• The bus stop of KMB Route Nos. N73 and N373 on Choi Yuen Road westbound opposite Sheung Shui Station will be temporarily relocated for about 140 metres westwards near Choi Yuk House, Choi Yuen Estate from 1.30 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. every Sunday.

• The taxi stand on Choi Yuen Road near Sheung Shui Station will be temporarily shortened by about 10 metres from 10 a.m. on 11 June 2023 (Sunday) to 5.30 a.m. on 22 October 2023 (Sunday).

      Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be provided on site to guide motorists. Notices will be displayed by the bus company to inform passengers of the above bus stop arrangement. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
