ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Sheung Shui

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10 a.m. on 28 July 2023, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the western kerbside lane of Fung Nam Road from a point about 110 metres south of its junction with Tin Ping Road to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Fung Nam Road from its junction with Tin Ping Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;
(c) the eastern kerbside lane of Fung Nam Road from a point about 55 metres south of its junction with Tin Ping Road to a point about 90 metres south of the same junction;
(d) the northern kerbside lane of Tin Ping Road from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with Fung Nam Road to a point about 35 metres east of the same junction;
(e) the southern kerbside lane of Tin Ping Road from a point about 50 metres east of its junction with Fung Nam Road to the same junction;
(f) the section of the unnamed access road connecting Tsui Lai Garden with Fung Nam Road from its junction with Fung Nam Road to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction;
(g) the section of the unnamed access road connecting the North District Sports Ground Car Park with Fung Nam Road from its junction with Fung Nam Road to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction; and
(h) the eastern kerbside lane of the access road leading to the Tsui Lai Garden Bus Terminus from its junction with Fung Nam Road to a point of about 5 metres south of the same junction.

      Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

      At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
