In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 August 2023, the northern kerbside lane of Fo Tan Road from a point about 45 metres west of its junction with Min Fong Street to a point about 75 metres west of the same junction will be designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• picking up or setting down passengers; or

• loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs or road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
