Members of the public are advised that due to typhoon, the footbridge erection works on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung which originally scheduled on 2 September 2023 will be postponed to 9 September 2023, the arrangements are as follows:

A section of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung (southbound) between Yip Shing Street and Shek Pai Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic from 8.00 p.m. on 9 September 2023 to 11.00 a.m. of the following day. The section of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung (northbound) between Yip Shing Street and Shek Pai Street will be converted to two-lane two-way traffic.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions and drive with utmost care.
