TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tseung Kwan O Road, Kwun Tong
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Kwun Tong from 11.30 pm on 23 September 2023 to 7.30 am on 24 September 2023.
(1) Lane Closure
The middle lane of Tseung Kwan O Road southbound from a point about 65 metres north of its junction with Kai Tin Road to a point about 320 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(2) Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles heading to Lei Yue Mun Road eastbound will be diverted via Kai Tin Road southbound, roundabout, Kai Tin Road northbound and Tseung Kwan O Road southbound.
(3) Public Transport Arrangements
KMB Route No. 213M, XHT Route No. N691 and Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 71A and 71B will be diverted via Kai Tin Road southbound, roundabout, Kai Tin Road northbound, Tseung Kwan O Road southbound before resuming original routeing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notices will also be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
