Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tsuen Wan
for Yan Chai Charity Walk 2023
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the holding of Yan Chai Charity Walk 2023, the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tsuen Wan on 24 September 2023 (Sunday):
(A) Road Closure
The section of Shing Mun Road/ Cheung Shan Estate East Road between Shing Mun Valley Park and Cheung Shan Estate Road West will be designated as closed road to all vehicular traffic except emergency vehicles and vehicles with valid closed road permits from 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
(B) Banning of Turning Movement
All vehicles will be prohibited from making right turn from Wo Yi Hop Road westbound to Shing Mun Road northbound from 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
All vehicles will be prohibited from making left turn from Wo Yi Hop Lane eastbound to Shing Mun Road northbound from 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
(C) Public Transport Arrangements
N.T. Green Minibus route no. 82 (Shing Mun Reservoir bound) will be truncated to terminate on Shing Mun Road near Fu Cheong Path from 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
N.T. Green Minibus route no. 94S (Shing Mun Reservoir bound) will be truncated to terminate on Shing Mun Road near Ho Fung College from 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
Appropriate traffic signs will be put up and Police officers will be on-site to guide the public. Public transport operators will also display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements. Actual implementation of and adjustments to road closures and traffic control will be made by the Police at the time depending on conditions in the areas.
