In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 a.m. on 7 October 2023 to 1.00 a.m. on 7 October 2024, the slip road leading from Fanling Highway southbound to Tai Wo Service Road East (exit 7A) will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
