ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zone on Jockey Club Road, Sheung Shui
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10 a.m. on 13 October 2023, the southern kerbside lane of Jockey Club Road from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Fu Hing Street to the same junction will be designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
