In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 p.m. on 26 October 2023 to 6.00 p.m. on 26 April 2024, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. 1. Lung Mun Road eastbound from a point about 145 metres east of its junction with Lung Fai Street to a point about 1 200 metres east of the same junction; and
      
      
   2. Lung Mun Road westbound from its junction with Lung Yiu Street to a point about 950 metres west of the same junction.

     At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above section of road will be temporarily rescinded.

     Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
