ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
Restrited Zones in Tai Wai

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 24 November 2023, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the southern kerbside lane of Chik Tak Lane from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with Chik Fu Street to the same junction;
(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Shing Ho Road from a point about 15 metres north of its junction with Chik Shun Street to a point about 140 metres south of the same junction;
(c) the southern kerbside lane of Tai Po Road – Tai Wai from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Shing Ho Road to the same junction;
(d) the eastern kerbside lane of Shing Ho Road from its junction with Tai Po Road – Tai Wai to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
(e) the northern kerbside lane of Chik Chuen Street from a point about 50 metres south of its junction with Tai Po Road – Tai Wai to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
(f) the southtern kerbside lane of Chik Fai Street from a point about 55 metres east of its junction with Mei Tin Road to the same junction;
(g) the western kerbside lane of Tai Wai Road from a point about 25 metres north of its junction with Tsuen Nam Road to its junction with Chik Fai Street;
(h) the southern kerbside lane of the unnamed access road connecting Grandway Garden and Tai Wai Road from its junction with Tai Wai Road to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction;
(i) the northern kerbside lane of the unnamed access road connecting Grandway Garden and Tai Wai Road from a point about 35 metres west of its junction with Tai Wai Road to the same junction;
(j) the northern kerbside lane of Tsuen Nam Road from a point about 35 metres east of its junction with Tai Wai Road to the same junction;
(k) the eastern kerbside lane of Tai Wai Road from its junction with Tsuen Nam Road to its junction with Chik Fuk Street;
(l) the southern kerbside lane of Chik Fuk Street from its junction with Tai Wai Road to a point about 60 metres east of the same junction;
(m) the eastern kerbside lane of Tai Wai Road from a point about 40 metres north of its junction with Chik Fuk Street to the same junction;
(n) the northern kerbside lane of Chik Fuk Street from its junction with Tai Wai Road to its junction with Chik Fu Street; and
(o) the western kerbside lane of Chik Fu Street from a point about 20 metres north of its junction with Chik Fuk Street to the same junction.

         Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

         The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
