Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate watermain laying works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented on Wah Ming Road near Cheong Shing Court as specified below:
The following road section will continue to be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
a. From 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. daily between 1 December 2023 and 21 December 2023
Wah Ming Road northbound from a point about 35 metres north of its junction with Fai Ming Road to a point about 60 metres north of the same junction.
The New Territories taxi stand on Wah Ming Road outside Yung Shing Shopping Centre will continue to be temporarily relocated about 90 metres northward to Wah Ming Road outside Cheong Shing Court; and
The GMB stop of Route No. 502 on Wah Ming Road outside Cheong Shing Court will continue to be temporarily relocated about 20 metres northward.
Appropriate traffic signs and road markings have been erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care. The public transport operator will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
