TRAFFIC ADVICE
Extension of Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in
Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange
Motorists are advised that, to facilitate the construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented in Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange with effect from 0.00 am on 1 December 2023 to 11.59 pm on 16 December 2023:
I. Traffic Arrangements
(a) Road Closure
(i) The access road leading from Wai Yip Street westbound to the ingress of Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange (outside Lu Plaza) will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
(ii) The access road leading from Kwun Tong Ferry Concourse Access Road eastbound to Wai Yip Street westbound (opposite to Lu Plaza) will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
(iii) The second and third easternmost service roads in Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(b) Banning of Turning Movement
All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Wai Yip Street westbound (near Lu Plaza) onto Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange.
(c) Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on Wai Yip Street westbound heading to Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange will be diverted via the roundabout between Hoi Yuen Road and Wai Yip Street, and Kwun Tong Ferry Concourse Access Road eastbound.
(d) Temporary Suspension of the Taxi Stands
The taxi stands (including the cross harbour taxi stand) on the second easternmost service road in Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange will be temporarily suspended.
(e) Temporary Suspension of the Taxi Parking Space
The taxi parking space in Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange will be temporarily suspended.
(f) Temporary Suspension of the General Loading and Unloading Bay
The general loading and unloading bay in Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange will be temporarily suspended.
(g) Temporary Suspension of the Public Light Bus Stands and Green Minibus Stands
The two public light bus stands and two green minibus stands in Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange will be temporarily suspended.
(h) Temporary Relocation of Green Minibus Stands
The green minibus stands of Kowloon GMB Route No. 22A and New Territories GMB Route No. 103 will be temporarily relocated about 20 metres westward.
II. Public Transport Arrangements
(a) KMB Route Nos. 33 (Tsuen Wan bound), 40 (Tsuen Wan bound) and T277 (Sheung Shui bound), and CTB Route Nos. 78X (Kai Tak bound) and 797 (San Po Kong bound) will be temporarily diverted via Wai Yip Street westbound, the roundabout and Kwun Tong Ferry Concourse Access Road eastbound before resuming their original routeings.
(b) Kowloon GMB Route No. 22A (Lok Wah Estate bound) and New Territories GMB Route No. 103 (Clear Water Bay bound) will be temporarily diverted via the access road leading from the egress of Kwun Tong Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange to the roundabout before resuming their original routeings.
Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
