Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
on Tsing Sha Highway, Sha Tin
Notice is hereby given that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 29 November 2023:
A. Road Closures
The following road sections will be closed to all vehicular traffic:

- The section of Tsing Sha Highway northbound from its junction with its slip road leading to Mei Tin Road sourthbound to Tai Po Road - Sha Tin;
- The slip road leading from Mei Tin Road southbound to Tsing Sha Highway northbound; and
- The slip road leading from Lower Shing Mun Road roundabout to Tsing Sha Highway northbound.
B. Lane Closures
The two leftmost lanes of Tai Po Road - Sha Tin northbound between Tsing Sha Highway and MTR Sha Tin Station will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
C. Traffic Diversions
- Affected vehicles on Tsing Sha Highway northbound and Mei Tin Road southbound heading for Tai Po Road - Sha Tin northbound will be diverted via Mei Tin Road southbound, Tai Wai Road eastbound, Tai Po Road - Tai Wai eastbound, Sha Tin Centre Street eastbound, Wang Pok Street southbound, Yuen Wo Road eastbound and Sha Tin Rural Committee Road northbound; and
- Affected vehicles on Lower Shing Mun Road roundabout heading for Tai Po Road - Sha Tin northbound will be diverted via Chik Wan Street southbound, Mei Tin Road northbound, Tai Wai Road eastbound, Tai Po Road - Tai Wai eastbound, Sha Tin Centre Street eastbound, Wang Pok Street southbound, Yuen Wo Road eastbound and Sha Tin Rural Committee Road northbound.
D. Public Transport Arrangements
KMB Route No. 270S (Fanling (Luen Wo Hui) bound) and LWB Route No. NA47 (Tai Po (Tai Wo) bound) will be diverted via Mei Tin Road southbound, Che Kung Miu Road eastbound, Tai Chung Kiu Road eastbound and Sha Tin Rural Committee Road northbound before resuming to their original routeings.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
