In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight on 1 December 2023 to 11.59 pm on 13 May 2024, the northern kerbside lane of Catchick Street from a point about 15 metres east from its junction with Davis Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily designated as a public light bus restricted zone from 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of public light buses, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) Picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) Loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing public light bus restricted zone from 7.00 am to 10.00 am and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
