ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)
Restricted Zones in Fortress Hill

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 8 December 2023, the following road sections in Fortress Hill will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:- 

(a) the section of Oil Street from a point about 15 metres west of its junction with Electric Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
(b) the section of Electric Road from a point about 15 metres east of its junction with Oil Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
(c) the southern kerbside lane of Oil Street from its junction with Wang On Road to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;
(d) the southern kerbside lane of Oil Street from its junction with Wang On Road to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction;
(e) the section of Wang On Road from its junction with Oil Street to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
(f) the section of Wang On Road from its junction with Fook Yum Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
(g) the northern kerbside lane of Fook Yum Road from its junction with Wang On Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
(h) the northern kerbside lane of Fook Yum Road from its junction with Wang On Road to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction;
(i) the northern kerbside lane of Fook Yum Road from its junction with King Wah Road to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;
(j) the southern kerbside lane of King Wah Road from its junction with Fook Yum Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction; and
(k) the northern kerbside lane of King Wah Road from its junction with Fook Yum Road to a point about 40 metres east of the same junction.

Within the restricted zones, drivers of motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
