In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 15 December 2023, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

1. 1. the section of On King Street from its southern junction with Tai Chung Kiu Road to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
   2. the section of Tai Chung Kiu Road northbound from a point about 40 metres south of its southern junction with On King Street to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction;
   3. the section of Tai Chung Kiu Road southbound from a point about 45 metres north of its junction with On Lai Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
   4. the section of On Lai Street westbound from a point about 45 metres east of its junction with Tai Chung Kiu Road to the same junction; and
   5. the section of On Lai Street eastbound from its junction with Tai Chung Kiu Road to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

1. 1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
   2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
