Extension of Temporary Traffic Arrangements at San Tin Public Transport Interchange and Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau Section, Yuen Long District

     Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the conduction of works by the Civil Engineering and Development Department for the Development of Lok Ma Chau Loop: Main Works Package 1, the following temporary traffic arrangements will continue to be implemented from 5.00 p.m. on 8 January 2024 to 5.00 p.m. on 7 January 2025:

(I) Temporary Closure of Subway cum Cycle Track (Subway No. NS316) and at-grade Footpath

     The section of subway cum cycle track (Subway No. NS316) between San Tin Public Transport Interchange and Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau Section and the sections of at-grade footpath in the vicinity will be temporarily closed to all cyclists and pedestrians.

(II) Cycle Track and Footpath Arrangements

     Affected cyclists and pedestrians at the concerned subway cum cycle track (Subway No. NS316) between San Tin Public Transport Interchange and Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau Section and the sections of at-grade footpath in the vicinity may use the temporary cycle track connecting and existing footpath between San Tin Public Transport Interchange and Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau Section.

     Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide the cyclists and pedestrians. For the sake of safety of road users, cyclists are required to dismount upon entering / leaving the above-mentioned cycle track at the existing crossing.
