ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
Restricted Zones on Kwong Sin Street, Ngau Pei Sha Street and Hang Shin Link, Sha Tin

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 19 January 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. The northern kerbside lane of Ngau Pei Sha Street from a point about 85 metres west of its junction with Kwong Sin Street to a point about 55 metres west of the same junction;
    2. The southern kerbside lane of Ngau Pei Sha Street from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with Kwong Sin Street to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction;
    3. The northern kerbside lane of Ngau Pei Sha Street from a point about 35 metres west of its junction with Kwong Sin Street to the same junction;
    4. The northern kerbside lane of Kwong Sin Street from a point about 30 metres east of its junction with Ngau Pei Sha Street to a point about 60 metres east of the same junction;
    5. The southern kerbside lane of Kwong Sin Street from a point about 85 metres east of its junction with Ngau Pei Sha Street to a point about 55 metres east of the same junction;
    6. The northern kerbside lane of Kwong Sin Street from its junction with Ngau Pei Sha Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;
    7. The section of the unnamed access road connecting Kwong Sin Street car park and Kwong Sin Street from its junction with Kwong Sin Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction; and
    8. The western kerbside lane of Hang Shin Link from a point about 35 metres south of its junction with Kwong Sin Street to the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
