ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
Restricted Zones in Tai Wai

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 19 January 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) The southern kerbside lane of Chung Ling Lane westbound from a point about 25 metres east of its junction with Chung Ling Road to the same junction;
(b) The eastern kerbside lane of Chung Ling Road from its junction with Chung Ling Lane to its junction with Tai Po Road – Tai Wai;
(c) The northern kerbside lane of Tai Po Road – Tai Wai eastbound from its junction with Chung Ling Road to its junction with Sha Tin Centre Street;
(d) The southern kerbside lane of Tai Po Road – Tai Wai westbound from its junction with Lion Rock Tunnel Road to a point about 25 metres west of its junction with Shing Chuen Road;
(e) The section of Shing Chuen Road from a point about 40 metres south of its junction with Tai Po Road – Tai Wai to the same junction;
(f) The western kerbside lane of Lion Rock Tunnel Road northbound from its junction with Che Kung Miu Road to its junction with Tai Po Road – Tai Wai;
(g) The cul-de-sac at Man Lai Road;
(h) The section of Man Lam Road from its junction with Lion Rock Tunnel Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction; and
(i) The northern kerbside lane of Che Kung Miu Road eastbound from a point about 55 metres west of its junction with Lion Rock Tunnel Road to the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
