ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)
Temporary Speed Limit on Sai Sha Road and Ma On Shan Bypass

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily on Mondays to Fridays from 1 to 7 and 19 to 23 February 2024, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

    1. the section of Sai Sha Road westbound from a point about 80 meters east of its junction with Ma On Shan Bypass to the same junction; and
    2. the section of Ma On Shan Bypass westbound from its junction with Sai Sha Road to a point about 470 meters east of its junction with Ma On Shan Road.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
