Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Man Kam To Road, North District
Motorists are advised that, to facilitate sewerage works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Man Kam To Road from 10a.m. from 15 February 2024 (Thursday) to 7p.m. on 14 June 2024 (Friday):
Temporary traffic arrangements
A section of the fast lane of Man Kam To Road (northbound) from a point about 110 metres south of its junction with Lo Wu Station Road to a point about 70 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed. Affected motorists are advised to use the slow lane of the above road section.
Banning of Turning Movement
- All vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length on Lo Wu Station Road eastbound will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn onto Man Kam To Road southbound;
- All vehicles on Lo Wu Station Road eastbound will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn onto Man Kam To Road southbound from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the following day daily; and
- All vehicles on Man Kam To Road southbound will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn onto Lo Wu Station Road westbound from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m on the following day daily.
Traffic Diversion
- Affected motorists on Lo Wu Station Road eastbound heading to Man Kam To Road southbound will be diverted via Man Kam To Road (northbound), the cul-de-sac near Man Kam To check point and Man Kam To Road (southbound); and
- Affected motorists on Man Kam To Road southbound heading to Lo Wu Station Road westbound will be diverted via Man Kam To Road (southbound), Jockey Club Road (southbound), Jockey Club Roundabout, Jockey Club Road (northbound), Man Kam To Road (northbound) and Lo Wu Station Road (westbound).
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
