ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Temporary Restricted Zones on Cheung Shun Street and Cheung Mou Street, Lai Chi Kok


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 21 February 2024 to 6.00 p.m. on 3 May 2024, the following road sections will be temporarily designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily:


(a)     the section of Cheung Shun Street from a point about 50 metres west from its junction with Cheung Mou Street to a point about 50 metres east of the same junction; and

(b)     the section of Cheung Mou Street from its junction with Cheung Shun Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction.


        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.


        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
