ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Temporary Restricted Zones on Sai Cheung Street, Kennedy Town

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 24 February 2024 to 11.59 pm on 25 February 2024, the following road sections will be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

(a) the eastern kerbside lane of Sai Cheung Street from its junction with Praya, Kennedy Town to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;

(b) the western kerbside lane of Sai Cheung Street from its junction with Praya, Kennedy Town to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction; and

(c) the southern kerbside lane of Praya, Kennedy Town from its junction with Sai Cheung Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
