Extension of Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on San Tin Highway and Fanling Highway, Yuen Long District

      Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the construction works for the Development of Lok Ma Chau Loop, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented on any 2 working nights from 1.00 a.m. on 16 March 2024 to 5.30 a.m. on 27 March 2024:

(I)  Road Closure

      The following road sections will be temporarily closed for all vehicular traffic:

(a)  The slip road leading from San Tin Interchange eastbound to Fanling Highway eastbound; and

(b)  The slow and middle lanes of New Territories Circular Road eastbound section from San Tin Highway eastbound about chainage marker 31.9A to Fanling Highway eastbound about chainage marker 30.7A.

(II) Traffic Diversion

      Motorists on San Tin Interchange eastbound heading for Fanling Highway eastbound are advised to travel via Castle Peak Road - Chau Tau eastbound and Unnamed Road southbound near Pak Shek Au.

(III) Public Transport Services Arrangements

      KMB Route No. N73 heading for Sha Tin and NT GMB Route No. 616S heading for Mong Kok will be diverted via Castle Peak Road - Chau Tau eastbound and Unnamed Road southbound near Pak Shek Au before resuming their normal routing.

      Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
