In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 p.m. on 28 March 2024 to 6.00 p.m. on 27 June 2024, the section of Castle Peak Road – Ting Kau eastbound from a point about 430 meters west of its junction with Yau Lai Road to a point about 365 meters east of the same junction will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs have been erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
