Notice is hereby given that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on 24 March 2024:

I. From 12.00 midnight to 7.00 am

        A. Banning of Turning Movements

• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound onto Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound; and
• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound onto Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound.

        B. Traffic Diversions

• Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound heading for Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound will be diverted via Pai Tau Street and Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound; and
• Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound heading for Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound and Pai Tau Street.

        C. Public Transport Arrangements

• KMB Route Nos. 40X (Wu Kai Sha Station bound), 47X (Chun Shek bound), 48X (Wo Che bound), 49X (Kwong Yuen bound), 269D (Lek Yuen bound) and 280X (Sui Wo Court bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound, Sha Tin Station Circuit and Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound before resuming to their original routeings; and
• GMB Route Nos. 28K (Tai Po Market Station bound) and 28S (Pak Shek Kok bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound, Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound before resuming to their original routeings.

II. From 1.00 am to 6.00 am

        A. Banning of Turning Movements

• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound onto Tai Po Road - Sha Tin southbound;
• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from the slip road leading from Tai Po Road - Sha Tin southbound to Sha Tin Rural Committee Road onto Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound; and
• All vehicles will be prohibited from heading straight from the slip road leading from Tai Po Road - Sha Tin southbound to Sha Tin Rural Committee Road onto Tai Po Road - Sha Tin southbound.

        B. Traffic Diversions

• Affected vehicles on the slip road of Tai Po Road – Sha Tin southbound heading for Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road southbound, Tam Kon Po Street westbound, Sha Tin Centre Street northbound, Wang Pok Street eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound; and
• Affected vehicles on the slip road of Tai Po Road – Sha Tin southbound and Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound heading for Tai Po Road – Sha Tin southbound will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road southbound, Tam Kon Po Street westbound, Sha Tin Centre Street northbound, Wang Pok Street eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound and Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound.

        C. Public Transport Arrangement

        LWB Route No. NA40 (Wu Kai Sha Station bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound, Sha Tin Station Circuit, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road southbound, Tam Kon Po Street westbound, Sha Tin Centre Street southbound, Pak Hok Ting Street, Sha Tin Centre Street northbound and Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus before resuming to its original routeing.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
