Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic Arrangement at Yau Pok Raod, Yuen Long

        Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate the road maintenance works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented at Yau Pok Raod from 9.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of following day on 26 March, 5 and 12 April 2024:

        Road Closure

• The section of Yau Pok Road between Yau Pok Road near lamp post no. GD3984 and its junction with Castle Peak Road-Tam Mi will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and,
• The northbound lane of the northmost vehicular bridge connecting Yau Pok Road and Kam Pok Road (near lamp post no. AD7926) will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
  
  Banning of Turning Movement
• All vehicles will be prohibited from making right turn movements from Kam Pok Road westbound onto the northmost vehicular bridge connecting Yau Pok Road and Kam Pok Road northbound (near lamp post no. AD7926); and,
  
• All vehicles will be prohibited from making left turn movements from Kam Pok Road eastbound onto the northmost vehicular bridge connecting Yau Pok Road and Kam Pok Road northbound (near lamp post no. AD7926).
  
  Traffic Diversion
• Affected motorist on Yau Pok Raod eastbound heading for Castle Peak Road – Tam Mi will be diverted via the northmost vehicular bridge connecting Yau Pok Road and Kam Pok Road southbound (near lamp post no. GD3983) and Kam Pok Road eastbound; and,
• Affected motorist on Kam Pok Road westbound heading for Yau Pok Road will be diverted via the second northmost vehicular bridge connecting Yau Pok Road and Kam Pok Road westbound (near lamp post no. AD7938).

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care.
