Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Sai Tso Wan Road and Tsing Yi Road West, Tsing Yi

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Sai Tso Wan Road and Tsing Yi Road West from 9.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. on 31 March 2024 –

        (I)    Lane Closures


The following traffic lanes will be closed to all vehicular traffic:

      1. The fast lane of Sai Tso Wan Road eastbound from its junction with Tsing Yi Road West to a point about 170 metres west of the same junction; and
      2. The fast lane of Tsing Yi Road West southbound from its junction with Sai Tso Wan Road to a point about 60 metres north of the same junction.
        (II)    Banning of Turning Movement
      1. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn from Sai Tso Wan Road eastbound onto Tsing Yi Road southbound; and
      2. All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn from Tsing Yi Road West southbound onto Sai Tso Wan Road westbound.
        (III)    Traffic Diversion
      1. Affected vehicles on Sai Tso Wan Road eastbound heading for Tsing Yi Road southbound will be diverted via Tsing Yi Road West northbound, Fung Shue Wo Road northbound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound, Tsing Yi Road West southbound and Tsing Yi Road southbound; and
      2. Affected vehicles on Tsing Yi Road West southbound heading for Sai Tso Wan Road westbound will be diverted via Tsing Yi Road southbound, Tsing Keung Street southbound, Tsing Keung Street northbound, Tsing Yi Road northbound and Sai Tso Wan Road westbound.
        (IV)   Temporary Public Transport Service Arrangement

NT GMB route no. 88M (Kwai Fong Station bound) will be diverted to travel via Tsing Yi Road West northbound, Fung Shue Wo Road northbound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound and Tsing Yi Road West southbound before resuming its original routeing.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Notices will be displayed by the GMB operator to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
