Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements in the Vicinity of Cemeteries in Chai Wan on 29, 30 and 31 March and 1 April 2024

Level I road closures will be implemented by the Police in the vicinity of cemeteries along Cape Collinson Road in Chai Wan from 7 am to 5 pm daily on 29, 30 and 31 March and 1 April to facilitate members of the public to visit the cemeteries. During the period, Lin Shing Road and Cape Collinson Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic, except franchised buses, GMBs, taxis, hearses, funeral vehicles and vehicles with permits. Members of the public can take CTB route 388, HKI GMB routes 16A, 16M, 16X or 18M at Chai Wan MTR Station or take CTB route 389 at Shau Kei Wan Bus Terminus to the cemeteries along Cape Collinson Road. The Transport Department anticipates that the traffic in the vicinity of cemeteries in Chai Wan will be busy. Motorists are advised to avoid driving to the concerned areas. Please exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion, and take heed of instructions given by the Police. Members of the public are advised to use public transport services as far as possible and be alert to the latest traffic news through the media.
