TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kwai Chung Road and
Lai Chi Kok Road, Mei Foo
Notice is hereby given that, to facilitate road works, from 11:59 p.m. to 5.30 a.m. of the following days daily, on 27 and 28 August 2024, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Mei Foo:
Road Closure
The slip road of Kwai Chung Road connecting Kwai Chung Road westbound and Lai Chi Kok Road westbound near Mei Foo Bus Terminus will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
Traffic Diversion
Vehicles on Lai Chi Kok Road westbound heading for Kwai Chung Road westbound will be diverted via Mei Lai Road northbound, Cheung Sha Wan Road eastbound, Butterfly Valley Road southbound, Lai Chi Kok Road eastbound and Kwai Chung Road westbound.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists.
Temporary Relocation of Bus Stops
The bus stops of KMB Route Nos. 67X, 68X, 69X, 265B, CTB Route Nos. A20, A23, 50, E21A, E21B, E21D, N21, N21A, N50 and NA20, on Lai Chi Kok Road westbound near Broadway will be temporarily relocated backwards for about 20 metres.
The bus stops of KMB Route Nos. 30X, 33A, 36A, 37, 38A, 40, 42A, 43C, 44, 234X, 238X, 240X, 272P, N252, N260, N269 and N368 on Lai Chi Kok Road westbound near Mei Foo MTR Station Exit A will be temporarily relocated to outside Mei Foo Sun Chuen (Stage 4).
Bus operators will display notices at the affected stops to inform passengers of the above arrangements.
