Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangement on Airport Island, Lantau Island

        Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate "Hong Kong International Airport‧Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon: Three-Runway System 10km International Race", the following temporary traffic and transport arrangement will be implemented from 6.00 am to about 4.00 pm on 17 November 2024:

(i) Lane Closure

The middle lane of Airport Expo Boulevard eastbound from a point about 70 meters east from its junction with Sky City Road East to 170 meters east of the same junction will be closed to all vehicular traffic. Affected vehicles could still assess to AsiaWorld Expo East Entrance using the slow lane.

(ii) Relocation of bus stop

The bus stops for airport bound services of CTB Routes no. S52, E22C, LWB Routes no. E37C and E42C on South Perimeter Road eastbound at Aircraft Maintenance Area will be temporarily relocated to the bus stop on South Perimeter Road westbound at the opposite side.

         Traffic signs will be erected on site to guide the motorist. The bus companies will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.

        At the same time, a Special Service Route No. X54 will operate between 6.30 am and 3.20 pm on 17 November 2024 to provide direct transportation for participants of the Marathon between AsiaWorld Expo and the race course in the Airport.
