Temporary Traffic Arrangement in Tai Po District to Facilitate the Holding of a Running Event


        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the holding of a running event, the following traffic arrangements will be implemented from 7.00 am to 10.00 am on 24 November 2024 (Sunday):

        (I)    Closure of Footpath


The following footpaths will be temporarily closed:

    1. part of the footpath along Tolo Harbour between Pak Shek Kok Promenade and Tai Po Waterfront Park;
    2. part of the southern footpath of Tai Po Tai Wo Road from its junction with Nam Wan Road to a point about 60 metres east of the same junction;
    3. part of the eastern footpath of Nam Wan Road from its junction with Tai Po Tai Wo Road to a point about 190 metres south of the same junction;
    4. part of the footpath along the western riverbank of Tai Po River from near its confluence with Lam Tsuen River to a point about 210 metres south of the same confluence;
    5. part of the footpath along the southern riverbank of Lam Tsuen River from near its confluence with Tai Po River to the point near Mui Shue Hang Playground; and
    6. part of the footpath along the northern riverbank of Lam Tsuen River between Tai Po Waterfront Park and Mui Shue Hang Playground.

        (II)   Closure of Cycle Track

The following cycle tracks will be temporarily closed:

    1. part of the section of the cycle track between a point about 90 metres north of the junction of Nam Wan Road southbound carriageway with Plover Cover Road and Plover Cove Road subway;
    2. part of the section of the cycle track from a point near Yuen Chau Tsai Park to the point about 120 metres south of the abovementioned point; and
    3. the section of the cycle track between Tai Po Waterfront Park public toilet no. 3 and Tai Po Waterfront Pier.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide members of the public.
