ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Extension of Temporary Restricted Zones in Kei Yip Street
and Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.00 am on 1 January 2025 to 11.59 pm on 31 March 2025, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily: -


(i)     the northern kerbside lane of Kei Yip Street from a point about 10 metres south of its junction with Kei Yip Lane to a point about 25 metres west of its junction with Hoi Bun Road; and

(ii)    the southern kerbside lane of Kei Yip Street from a point of its junction with Hoi Bun Road to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction.


       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic road markings.


       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will continue to be temporary rescinded.
