ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON HING WAN STREET, WAN CHAI

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 3 January 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the northern kerbside lane of Hing Wan Street from its junction with Kennedy Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;

(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Kennedy Street from its junction with Hing Wan Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;

(c) the eastern kerbside lane of Kennedy Street from its junction with Hing Wan Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;

(d) the southern kerbside lane of Hing Wan Street from its junction with Kennedy Street to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;

(e) the southern kerbside lane of Hing Wan Street from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Kennedy Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction; and

(f) the eastern kerbside lane of Hing Wan Street.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner of Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a) Picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) Loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
