ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONE ON CHAI WAN ROAD, CHAI WAN

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 24 January 2025, the southern kerbside lane of Chai Wan Road from a point about 15 metres east of its junction with Chai Wan Road Roundabout to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction will be designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
