ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Tai Nan Street and Shek Kip Mei Street, Sham Shui Po


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 a.m. on 13 February 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:


(a)    the
northern kerbside lane of Tai Nan Street from a point about 11 metres west of its junction with Shek Kip Mei Street to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;

(b)    the
southern kerbside lane of Tai Nan Street from a point about 16 metres west of its junction with Shek Kip Mei Street to a point about 18 metres east of the same junction;

(c)    the
western kerbside lane of Shek Kip Mei Street from a point about 12 metres north of its junction with Tai Nan Street to a point about 17 metres south of the same junction; and

(d)    the eastern kerbside lane of Shek Kip Mei Street from a point about 14 metres north of its junction with Tai Nan Street to a point about 17 metres south of the same junction.


       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
