TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Wong Tai Sin District
Motorists are advised that to facilitate the footbridge erection works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Choi Hung Road, Po Kong Village Road and Tai Yau Street from 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 16 February 2025: -
A. Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic: -
(a) All lanes of Choi Hung Road eastbound between Choi Hung Road Playground and Kai Wang House;
(b) The section of the fast lane of Choi Hung Road westbound between Shing King Industrial Building and Wong King Industrial Building;
(c) Part of the middle lane and fast lane of Choi Hung Road northbound between Wong Tai Sin Divisional Police Station and Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Nursing Home;
(d) The slip road leading from Po Kong Village Road southbound to Choi Hung Road eastbound;
(e) The section of slow lane and middle lane of Po Kong Village Road southbound between Lung Cheung Road and Choi Hung Road; and
(f) Part of the slow lane of Tai Yau Street northbound between Sheung Hei Street and Ng Fong Street.
B. Lane Conversion
The section of Choi Hung Road eastbound between Po Kong Village Road and Tai Yau Street will be temporarily converted into two-way traffic.
C. Banning of Turning Movement
(a) All vehicles on Choi Hung Road eastbound will be prohibited from making right turn movement onto Tai Yau Street southbound; and
(b) All vehicles on Tai Yau Street northbound will be prohibited from making left turn movement onto Choi Hung Road westbound.
D. Traffic Diversion
(a) Affected vehicles on Choi Hung Road eastbound heading to Tai Yau Street southbound will be diverted via Choi Yee Lane, Sze Mei Street northbound, Choi Hung Road westbound and Tai Yau Street southbound; and
(b) Affected vehicles on Tai Yau Street northbound heading to Choi Hung Road westbound will be diverted via Ng Fong Street, Sze Mei Street northbound and Choi Hung Road westbound.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
