ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Cheung Wah Street and Castle Peak Road, Cheung Sha Wan


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. on 17 February 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:


(a)    the
western kerbside lane of Cheung Wah Street from a point about 15 metres north of its junction with Castle Peak Road to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;

(b)    the
eastern kerbside lane of Cheung Wah Street from a point about 16 metres north of its junction with Castle Peak Road to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction; and

(c)    the section of Castle Peak Road from a point about 18 metres west of its junction with Cheung Wah Street to a point about 12 metres east of the same junction.


       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
