ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN NORTH POINT
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.00 a.m. on 24 February 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(a) the eastern kerbside lane of Healthy Street East from its junction with King's Road to a point about 85 meters north of its junction with Java Road;
(b) the northern kerbside lane of Java Road from a point about 35 metres west of its junction with Healthy Street East to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
(c) the southern kerbside lane of Java Road from a point about 75 metres west of its junction with Healthy Street East to a point about 120 metres west of the same junction;
(d) the southern kerbside lane of Java Road from its junction with Healthy Street East to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
(e) the southern kerbside lane of Java Road from a point about 45 metres west of its junction with Healthy Street East to a point about 130 metres west of the same junction;
(f) the northern kerbside lane of King's Road from its junction with Healthy Street East to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
(g) the southern kerbside lane of Tsat Tsz Mui Road from its junction with Model Lane to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
(h) the southern kerbside lane of Pak Fuk Road from a point about 15 meters west of its junction with the unnamed road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
(i) the eastern kerbside lane of the unnamed road from of its junction with Pak Fuk Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
(j) the western kerbside lane of the unnamed access road from of its junction with Pak Fuk Road to a point about 45 metres south of the same junction;
(k) the section of Kam Hong Street from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Marble Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
(l) the section of Marble Road from a point about 10 metres west of its junction with Kam Hong Street to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
(m) the southern kerbside lane of King's Road from a point about 15 metres west of its junction with Shu Kuk Street to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
(n) the western kerbside lane of Shu Kuk Street from its junction with King's Road to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
(o) the eastern kerbside lane of Shu Kuk Street from its junction with King's Road to a point about 50 metres south of the same junction;
(p) the northern kerbside lane of Tsat Tsz Mui Road from its junction with Shu Kuk Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;
(q) the western kerbside lane of Kam Hong Street from its junction with Tanner Road to a point about 5 metres north of its junction with Tsat Tsz Mui Road;
(r) the section of Tsat Tsz Mui Road from its junction with Kam Hong Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
(s) the section of Tanner Road from its junction with Kam Hong Street to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction;
(t) the eastern kerbside lane of Kam Hong Street from its junction with Tanner Road to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction;
(u) the northern kerbside lane of Tanner Road from its junction with Kam Hong Street to a point about 55 metres east of the same junction;
(v) the southern kerbside lane of Tsat Tsz Mui Road from its junction with Tin Chiu Street to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
(w) the eastern kerbside lane of Tin Chiu Street between its junction with Tsat Tsz Mui Road and its junction with Tanner Road;
(x) the eastern kerbside lane of Kai Yuen Street from its junction with Tanner Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
(y) the southern kerbside lane of Fook Yum Road from its junction with Wang On Road to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction;
(z) the western kerbside lane of Merlin Street from its junction with Shell Street to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction;
(aa) the northern kerbside lane of Shell Street from its junction with Merlin Street to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction;
(ab) the northern kerbside lane of Wharf Road from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with North Point Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
(ac) the southern kerbside lane of Wharf Road from its junction with Tong Shui Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
(ad) the western kerbside lane of Tong Shui Road from its junction with Wharf Road to a point about 15 metres south of its junction with Java Road;
(ae) the northern kerbside lane of Java Road from its junction with Tong Shui Road to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction;
(af) the southern kerbside lane of Java Road from its junction with Tong Shui Road to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
(ag) the northern kerbside lane of Java Road from a point about 60 metres west of its junction with North Point Road to point about 60 metres east of the same junction;
(ah) the eastern kerbside lane of North Point Road from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Java Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
(ai) the western kerbside lane of North Point Road from its junction with Java Road to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
(aj) the southern kerbside lane of Java Road from a point about 75 metres west of its junction with Yuet Yuen Street to a point about 65 metres east of its junction with North Point Road (except metered parking spaces);
(ak) the section of Yuet Yuen Street from its junction with Java Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
(al) the section of Electric Road from its junction with Tin Chong Street to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction;
(am) the western kerbside lane of Electric Road from its junction with Power Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
(an) The southern kerbside lane of Power Street from its junction with Electric Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
(ao) the section of Power Street from its junction with King's Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
(ap) the section of Tin Chong Street from its junction with King's Road to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
(aq) the eastern kerbside lane of Cheung Hong Street from its junction with King's Road to a point about 60 metres south of the same junction;
(ar) the southern kerbside lane of Kin Wah Street from its junction with North View Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction; and
(as) the western kerbside lane of North View Street from its junction with Kin Wah Street to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
