Temporary Speed Limit on Fanling Highway

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. daily from 12 March 2025 to 14 March 2025 and from 19 March 2025 to 21 March 2025, the section of Fanling Highway (westbound) from a point about 270 meters east of its junction with Kam Tsin Road Footbridge (near Ho Tung School) to a point about 430 meters west of its junction with the slip road leading to Pak Shek Au will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
